KD5OH Web SDR Receiver
Alamogordo, NM

The Web Based SDR receiver here runs OpenWebRX+ software using both SDRPlay and RTL SDR hardware. There are several pros and cons with this setup however it provides the best bang for the buck with the allocated resources and software available. The receivers use a dedicated 6-160 Meter off-center-fed V at 35 feet on the tower, a dedicated multi-band omni vertical at 40 ft and are interfaced using combiners/power dividers. Occasionally, when I'm not using it, I'll connect the multi-band, homebrew V shown in the header of the SDR page to one of the HF receivers as well.  This is still a work in progress so make sure you refresh your browser page if you heard of a new feature and it's not showing up here or on the SDR. I'll be adding some help videos and will post links to them here.  For comments, you can email me if you like.  I'm good on QRZ.

Please read this:  Even though the SDR allows multiple users at once, all of the users that are connected to a given SDR receiver must use the same band.  You can be on different frequencies and different modes within that band but don't change the band if others are using it. If you are on the SDR and there is only one client, it's you - charge on. If there are others be courteous.  You can always grab one of the other receivers here if unsure.

You can look here to see what receivers are in use or look at the status at the bottom of the screen while in the SDR. Receivers listed as "Stopped" are available but not currently in use. Receivers that are set to a band will display the band they are tuned to. You can select a receiver that is in use, just make sure you select the same band that it is being used for at the time.
